Thanks for the wonderful video.  I'm creating a heritage-type family cookbook using MDS right now with many scanned pages from my mother's old, handwritten, cookbook, I intend to get started on something a little easier next and this appears to be the way to go. A great video showing how simple it can be.  I'm like you, love Tuesdays with all the new MDS downloads.

Thanks for the kudos, ladies!

Tammy - I've just created a video to help you with that problem - here's the link for you to check it out!  And Kathy, Photo Book Designer Template are downloads that you can buy to use with the system - every Tuesday a new one comes out - if you register your software with your email address, you might get an email once in a while showcasing the new ones.  This is my favourite part actually - I LOVE the new downloads each week!

Great video. Are the Photo Book Designer Templates included in MDS or do we have to buy them? None come up when I click on Photo Book designer or photos only (no templates found). TIA!

Kari, Thanks so much for sharing this video!!  I would like to use the front cover template and put it on the cover of a 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" portrait calendar.  Any ideas on how to do that?

Thanks for your video Kari. I am actually working on a cookbook using this template and your video taught me a few things about using this particular template that I didn't know. Thanks again!

Actually I'm printing this directly through Stampin' Up! - I like their printing the best, and as this is designed to be a board book, I want it to be really nice.  If you are in Canada, you can print it through me if you like, otherwise you can go to and print it there! :)

Just to answer your second question, I do have a colour laser printer, and the quality is pretty decent, but not for my heirloom type items like this (definitely for flyers, scrapbook embellishments, etc!)

Hope that helps! :)

I loved your cookbook demo.  Where and how did you print it?  If you did it yourself at home, would you mind telling me what kind of printer you have?  Ink Jet or Lazar?
