I created this video for my son who is turning 30 today. I was going to make a swatchbook and decided to turn it into a movie. It was a lot of fun to create and not hard at all.

Hi Susie.  I didn't use a template.  I created it from scratch.  I chose "New Project", then "Swatchbook" and went from there creating the pages just like a scrapbook.  The only difference is the finished size.  But it really doesn't matter what size it is when you turn it into a movie.  The tricky part was getting the right amount of pages to go with the music.  I just kept adding another page to fill in the right places.  Please email me at laurielud@aol.com and I'll be happy to help you, although I might have to see where things are now that MDS has been upgraded.  :-}

How do I create something like this? How do I get the template?

How do I view this video? I am not able to access it; do I need permission?

Oh My Goodness, I loved this! I cried, laughed, and sung along. I am trying to do something like this for both my Grandson and my Dear Hubby. I have never tried anything other than a card in MDS oh how I wished you lived next door. You did a wonderful job. Thanks so much for sharing

Linda:  Thanks for the kind words.  Yes, I created the sentiments to go with the slides.  Feel free to copy.  I take that as a huge compliment.  I wish I could send it to you and then all you would have to do is substitute your own pictures (Sorry, but I'm going to keep my son.  He's one-of-a-kind). :-)

BTW: I really love this version of Over the Rainbow (It brings tears to my eyes every time).

Did you create the words "sentiments" on the card also.  I'd like to copyKat this if possible for my son.  How do you create anything more than what is already perfect?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments.  I really like the way it turned out and I love Glee's version of Over the Rainbow. I get choked up everytime I watch it and even my big, bad Marine son shed a a tear or two over it when he received it.

Hi Laurie!  I just signed on MDS today, trying to get familiar and had to let you know how touching and heartfelt your card was.  I hope to dive in and create something as special as this!  Loved it!  I'm sure your son really appreciated and loved it as well.  =)
