Have you discovered the Recolor Designer Series Paper feature yet? Just in case you haven’t, check out Holly’s quick video below.
We’ve had a lot of fun looking through all of your samples using recolored DSP. We especially loved what Jenn Picard did with the Summertime Splendor Designer Series Paper. The monochromatic gray flower DSP really lets the embellishments, text, and picture shine. Thanks for sharing, Jenn!
Next Friday we’re going to talk about the Recolor Embellishments feature. If you want us to highlight your sample, make sure to label it with the tag “Recolor Embellishments”. You can upload a new sample, or add the tag to one of your existing samples on MyDigitalStudio.net.

Comment by Jennifer Sipula on January 7, 2013 at 7:23am I tried to do this and it is not working on my imac. The color pallette comes up and changes in the preview but it doesn't change it on the page. I can recolor embellishments just fine. i can change the color of the layers with the "photo effect" option (sepia, blue, red, black/white). Any ideas why it wont work?
just gorgeous!
i agree with Tanner - your subtle details REALLY make the page!
I know some of you out there have green thumbs, but I don't. After seeing the monochrome effect on the Summertime Splendor DSP, I might actually use that DSP for something now. :)
I really like your subtle details: the date in black on the petal, the little yellow brads, and the flower on the ribbon. Great work, Jenn!
thanks for the video. i never use the "add as page layer" button, i usually paper fill a punch shape. I will have to play around with this!
Comment by JoAnn Culbertson on September 7, 2012 at 10:13am Love this! Just the other day I was trying to figure out how to do this.
Thanks for posting
