Have you discovered the new paper rip option in MDS 2 yet? This feature came out with a recent update, so make sure to check for updates then watch Holly’s video below.
We've seen a lot of creative projects using this new MDS 2 feature. We especially like how Regina Andari used the technique in her sample below. That ripped page really gives this card an extra pop--it almost doesn't even look digital! Thanks for sharing, Regina! Your card turned out great!

Next Friday, we’ll talk about the line tool. If you want us to highlight your sample, make sure to label it with the tag “Line Tool”. You can upload a new sample, or add the tag to one of your existing samples on MyDigitalStudio.net.

Comment by Holly Linford on February 27, 2013 at 3:58pm It sure is! MDS 2 has over 75 new design tools, and the paper rip option is one of them.
When you purchased MDS 2+, you got the full MDS 2 software plus a whole ton of digital design elements to play with. So you have the full functionality of the software, plus lots of stamps, punches, papers, and embellishments to design with.

Comment by Holly Linford on January 7, 2013 at 7:25am What a great idea, Jennifer! :-)
Comment by Jennifer Sipula on January 6, 2013 at 9:44am just used the new paper tearing option. It is way better than the torn edges stamp. Thanks. I also made my own digital Washi tape using the add a layer, crop it to a rectangle, decrease the opacity and tear on the edges.
Comment by Holly Linford on October 22, 2012 at 10:29am Alana--Thanks for the reminder. :-) I should have time to upload the finished book later this week.
WOOOOOOOOOW! I had played with the feature before - but it NEVER dawned on me to keep clicking on and off to try out different rips each time! I thought it was only the one kind and if you didn't like it - too bad! this makes it SOOOO much more powerful than it first appeared! THANK YOU MDS2!!! and thank YOU Holly for the little 'rip' tour! p.s. really enjoying seeing all the snippits of your London book! when do we get to see the finished book in a slide show?
