Print Product Update (US and CAN only)

Print Product Availability

We spent the afternoon reviewing products with our print vendor, and we liked what we saw: the printing was high quality and the colors were great. We still have a few questions to work through, but we are very optimistic about what we saw.

We still cannot provide an exact date for when print product ordering will be available again, but we made some good progress towards defining that date in our meetings this afternoon. We will post another update here on MyDigitalStudio.net on Tuesday, July 1, at noon (MT).

Please feel free to post any comments and questions here on MyDigitalStudio.net.

I am a little upset as we still can not order.  I had made Thank you Grad cards and also Baby Shower invitations that added together when ordered would have been a $150 order so I would get free product and half my sales quota.  I knew there would be a few weeks but now at this point I have to bring them else where to print.  So I no longer will get the commissions for this order or my free product.  Just discouraged :(

There is a new post (however, it is just another vague one saying they are still working things out).

I too was surprised to see only 3 new downloads this month.  I really hope that the printing situation and the low quantity of downloads are not proof that SU! is less committed to MDS than before.  I have other  options for other printing companies, but I'd really rather use SU's vendor, especially for books and other keepsakes!

With only adding 3 downloads per month, we're not going to see anything worth buying!

I hope Stampin Up is still going to embrace MDS - that was my main purpose in joining.  I am looking forward to seeing what digital downloads are added in July. I certainly am hoping for some products that are in the current catalog so that I can make things that are fresh and new, just like my inkpad and rubber stamp sisters.  :)

I'm freaking out.  My daughter's graduation party invites are designed and ready to print.  I'll be working with a very limited time frame if I have to wait much longer.  Not to mention, I will have to pay to expedite the printing and the shipping.  This is such a disappointment in a product that I have always loved.

Please have 8x8 individual pages

It is very disappointing that Stampin Up would discontinue one print service without having a seamless transition to another service; this is an extremely poor business practice. Seems that I won't be able to order my books including 5 wedding books in a timely manner. I am definitely going into pending status or maybe this is the last straw. I don't think Stampin Up is really committed to My Digital Studio!!!

I agree with all of these ladies, I too am going into pending status now because I could not get anything ordered through MDS. THIS is MY business. I do not sell the traditional products, I sell the MDS product, and printing. I sell invitations that I create, (using your printing) and I sell cards that I make (also using your printing) I was also EXTREMELY disappointed that basically the only answer that I got was "Well you will need to send it somewhere else." How can I tell my customer that they would have to pay more, for unspecified quality, because my company couldn't get things together? I will be losing my customers, and my credibility, and also possibly my status as a demonstrator.

I, like Suzanne, seriously hope there is something planned for those of us who have lost so much in this down time. While 2 extra weeks doesn't seem like a big deal, it is to someone waiting on first birthday invitations, as well another waiting on birth announcements (her son is now 6 weeks old.) So incredibly disappointed, and there is NOTHING I can do about it.
