I know what you’re thinking, “It’s too early to start thinking about fall again!” I agree! We haven’t even really started summer yet, but how could I resist getting one more little project marked off my list this month—even though it’s a fall project.
Check out my newest recipe book. I’ve told you all before about my recipe mania. This book helps satisfy that small problem and also fulfills this strange, long-standing wish I’ve had to wake up on Thanksgiving morning, pull out a single recipe book and cook my way through it.
When I saw the Orchard Harvest Swatchbook (AU/NZ), I knew that it was the book for my Thanksgiving project. I know I say this every time, but I’m so happy with how it turned out! The hardest part for me was deciding which order to arrange the recipes. The Type A half of me wanted them alphabetized. The live-and-let-live part of me wanted them to be in any order. So I comprised with my two halves and they are in order of what I would cook first.
A fun bonus about this book is I’ve included our very own Shelli Gardner’s recipe for Orange Rolls—a Thanksgiving tradition at her house. You can get a copy of her recipe here. I know that the holiday season is a looooooooooooong way off—thank goodness! But it’s never too early to get a little holiday to-do item checked off your list. The nice thing about a project like this is that you can design it once and give it to everyone you know. Hurry! The promotion is ending soon!
