We just wanted to let you know that the Let It Snow January Wallpaper has been fixed to correct the sizing issue.  Please feel free to redownload it. The best way to use the wallpaper is to download it for "other applications". If using it in My Digital Studio the images can be found under embellishments.  We hope that helps.

I also am using a MacBook Pro and am getting the blurred boxes on the left side of the PDF -- same as Julie. Perhaps our wonderful tech folks could see if there's a Mac compatibility problem... ?? Thanks!!

When do we get the Apothecary Accents punches to match? That would make it perfect!

Kimberly - thanks so much for the help. I had already set this as a desktop but it didn't fit quite right and now I know how to figure out the size I need - You are SUPER.

FYI: the free wallpaper was intended to coordinate with the Let It Snow Kit, and the coordinating colors for that kit are: Bashful Blue, Concord Grape, Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, and Sahara Sand.  So, if you want to play, but haven't gotten the Let It Snow Kit yet, there's a jumping off point for coordination :-)

Marti--I installed the free wallpaper download, it installs in MDS as Embellishments, under Designer Kits (Let it Snow January Wallpaper). I then right-clicked my desktop, chose Properties, and looked under Settings to find the resolution of my desktop.  It is set at 1680x1050.  So, I opened a Custom Canvas in MDS2 at 1680 pixels wide by 1050 pixels high.  There is an embellishment of that size--I was going to put that on my canvas--but it doesn't fit on the 1680x1050 canvas for some reason.  If it did, I could then put other items on it, like pictures or whatever, especially with the coordinating Let It Snow Kit, then export it as a .jpg and load it as my computer wallpaper.

Just figured out why the embellishment doesn't fit--the 1680x1050 one is actually 7001x4375 pixels (according to Photoshop Elements). The rest of them are also all HUMONGOUS, you'll need to reduce them to the right size.  If you just make your custom canvas the right pixel size, then make the embellishment fit it, you should be okay when you export it.  Be aware that, for some reason, the rulers in the Custom Canvas view don't seem to display correctly in pixels...but when you export your project as a picture, the largest size option should be the pixel size you input when you chose your Custom Canvas.  At least that's how it worked for me before.  I'll let you know if it's different this time for any reason.

Thanks SU for the FREE calendar - love mine but would also love to get some tips and tricks on how to use it.

Okay, if I try to make a custom canvas to put the wallpaper on, MDS2 does not make my custom canvas the correct size.  I picked 1680x1050 pixels for my canvas and MDS2 gives me something completely different...like 960x600. There has been a problem for me with custom canvases (at least using pixels) since the feature came out.  Am I the only one noticing this, or has it really not been fixed yet?  If I can't make a canvas the size of the January wallpaper embellishment that fits my monitor resolution, then I won't be able to use the Let It Snow download to bling it up.
