This month is a busy one for Bonnie: a couple of birthdays to celebrate with some friends I taught school with, a housewarming to attend, a friend in the hospital, Halloween, a sister party…sheesh, I’m tired just typing this list!
Luckily, I downloaded the Monster Munchies Ensemble (item 131314) when it became available in September. It was designed to make it easy to host a cute Halloween party with a postcard invitation, bellybands, coasters, treat labels, a brush set, embellishments; this is a complete ensemble! So I took another look at it and found out it would work for my social gatherings this month.
I used the Spider Cider belly bands for these tissue packets. (Good thing I found tissues in Stampin’ Up! colors, huh? No kidding—Summer Starfruit is everywhere!) I punched the messages using the Scallop Oval punch, and then layered them on an Extra-Large Oval Punch of Summer Starfruit or Basic Black Cardstock. This will be a perfect little pressie for my three schoolteacher girlfriends when we get together for dinner later this month!
I love my little banner! I cut out the coasters and layered them on top of coordinating card stock. The banners are made from the largest Apothecary Accents Framelits die. I just scored them at the first ‘notch’ then attached the paper to some Basic Black 1/2” Striped Satin Ribbon using Basic Gray Basics Glimmer Brads. Simple and cute. My friend and her new house will be delighted with this!
My bestie has two pre-teens who are avoiding sweets. While deodorant isn’t all that exciting, I upped the fun factor with Spider Cider belly bands layered with the coaster images punched using the Extra Large Oval punch.
My sisters get spoiled when we have sleepover parties. I think these will be cute pillow gifts. All I did was fancy up a couple of lip balms with an accessory made out of punched elements from the Monster Munchies Ensemble.
For my friend who will be in the hospital for a few weeks, I thought a gift card that she can use to download a book, game or movie might be nice. Again, I just layered different elements from the ensemble to dress up the gift card. She’s going to love the presentation as much as the present!
I am so relieved to be prepared for the fun things in store for me this month!
