I am worried about the idea of paying in order to get a free gift in that scenario where the only physical product shipping is the free gift... perhaps the easiest middle of the road suggestion is this: setup OEX to recognize if the SAB gift chosen is one that can be shipped letter mail - and if so, then OEX will change the shipping to $3ish (I think that is what the shipping charge is when card print products are shipped to Canada - it is lighter and flatter so it can go regular USPS instead of courier... therefore cheaper. I think a customer would be more comfortable with $3 than $10!! I actually fear that having to pay to get a free gift will scare customers away from larger download orders.

On the other hand - this is a great incentive to make large PRINT ORDERS! a print order totaling over $60 should hopefully be heavy enough for cards/pages, and of course size wize big enough for other print products to go UPS, and since they are physical shipping items, there would be additional charges to add your SAB rewards to that scenario!

Comment by Stampin' Up! on January 25, 2013 at 11:22am: Hey Alana, you get to select whatever downloads you would like for that extra 25%. With the new flexible starter kit, you can select any products to go into your starter kit. And now, during Sale-A-Bration, you get 25% more for free.

And about your second question, there is not a Digital Download option for the SAB MDS Content Discs, so the minimum shipping fee ($6.95 US/$9.95 CA) does apply for orders that contain physical product. The marketing team over SAB and the product managers over MDS are working on some changes there for the future, but it doesn't look like we will see a change during this year's SAB.

if we earn sale-a-bration rewards on an order of all downloads, are we forced to pay CDN 9.99 shipping in order to get our 'free' gift? or is there a separate item number for a download only version of the CD content where we would NOT have to pay shipping? if not - please ask management to offer this option so your digital customers are not penalized... thank you so much!
