It’s almost that time again! The air is changing, leaves are being recolored, candy corn is in abundance, and my favorite holiday, Halloween, is upon us!

Throwing a festive Halloween party is quite possibly one of the greatest highlights I look forward to each year. Dressing up the table with delicious treats and décor and creating a different, fun theme for parties with the limited options of the store goods can sometimes cause creative claustrophobia. Lucky for me, MDS 2 is here to solve the conundrum.

Sophistication and individuality is something I, like most young women, strive for. Trend setting is a big deal and it is important to me to show off my personal taste and style. When someone comes to my house, I want my guests to remember how differently I did things and be inspired by the time they spent within the space I created.

The Sophisticated Spooks Ensemble presents a different way of designing for a Halloween party. Classy neutrals with fun patterns and rich contrast will help to create more decoration options. The fresh, neutrals against bright orange with a tall glass of colorful candy is so different from the usual black, purples, and the bright obnoxious overkill of Halloween orange. Of course in MDS 2 you can always add the usual Halloween colors to personalize it for your taste.

I used the Sophisticated Spooks Ensemble to add pizzazz to my cupcakes and candy holders. I also decorated my food table with the cameo witch framable and added a kick to my wall with the “Beware” flags.

I know it’s only September, but it is never too early to enjoy many faux Halloween parties!

Is the witch head image a stamp brush or an embellishment?
