Last month, I showed off the See Ya Next Year Photobook Template. At the time, I was working on a secret project for a friend at work. You may know her for her fabulous designing skills here on the MDS blog, Elizabeth Gray, or “Miss Elizabeth” as we like to call her. She recently got an opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom and pursue some of her dreams. She made the tough decision to leave us at Stampin’ Up! (I say “tough” because we are pretty awesome, but who can blame her for wanting to be with her two absolutely adorable kids?)
So, the MDS team got together and made her a book. We used the See Ya Next Year Photobook, designed by the talented Jalise Hansen. Then, Andrea Bowden created a stamp brush set with phrases we deemed as “Lizisms.” Finally, I had the EASY part of combining the template and our customized stamp brush set.
It was so simple! I converted the project to an 8" x 8" photobook (which worked nicely), took out all the photo boxes, and added our stamps. I hardly changed the template at all.
Here’s a look at two of the spreads:
After we printed the soft cover photobook, we passed it around the office and it quickly filled up with signatures and messages. (She is one popular girl!) The template worked perfectly for this project. It was a great going-away gift and it gave us a chance to remind Elizabeth that it’s not goodbye, but “See Ya Soon.”
