I love Halloween! Not the spooky, creepy part of Halloween (I don’t do scary!), but I love the fun, imaginative aspect of Halloween. Also, I’m a seamstress and costumer at heart. Every year I come up with a big, elaborate Halloween costume that I work on during the months leading up to Halloween.

Well, every year but this year, anyway. This year, Halloween has completely snuck up on me! How is it already October 11? And, while I had grand visions of another amazing costume, I just don’t have the time to make it happen this year.

That’s why I am absolutely loving our new Halloween downloads! We have released a couple downloads that are perfect for quick and easy Halloween costumes. The Quick Wit Costumes from last week were super fun, and I was tempted to make a “pumpkin pie” shirt. That was the plan until I saw the downloads this week. I absolutely fell in love with Emoti-Costumes!

It was the little ghost face—he was just too cute and I couldn’t resist him! I decided he would be my Halloween costume for this year. I found a cheap plain white t-shirt at a local store ($5.99!), and went to work on my ghost costume. I enlarged the stamp of the ghost face to the size I wanted, printed it on iron-on transfer paper, and then applied it to the shirt. It only took me 15 minutes from start to finish! For a girl that normally goes for elaborate, I’m kind of diggin’ the simplicity of this costume. Here’s how it turned out:

You can see the rest of this week’s downloads here. What do you guys plan to make with them?

Super cute, Holly :-)  You know what that reminds me of?  The "whistling belly button" guys in main street parades when I was a kid!
