With Halloween coming up that means, parties, school treats, and decorations! I love this new Any Witch Way Designer Template. What a cute and clever little witch. She has certainly cast her spell on me, and I’m sure she will do the same for you.
I had no problem coming up with lots of ways to use this little paper doll witch. First off, my daughter was excited just to color the black and white ones I had printed out. Wow, that was easy! But the fun comes when you put her together and our mini brads work perfectly to secure her little arms and legs together. You can also use her to decorate your witch's brew bottles or glue her to a popsicle stick and you have an enchanting cupcake topper. String several together for a festive banner, and, of course, she would be great on an invitation or card. She would also make the cutest treat topper; fill a cello bag with treats and put her on the front. For some simple but chic décor, you can even frame her because she's just that versatile. Still looking for treat ideas for your child's class? Have this little witch sit on a lollipop broom. Place a coffee filter over a Tootsie Pop or lollipop and secure it with Baker's Twine. Then cut fringe on the bottom of the coffee filter and color the lollipop stick brown or black. Super cool!

Of course there is also the simple fun of playing around with her in MDS 2. I decided I really wanted her to wear a plaid dress using the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper from the holiday catalog. What a good time to play with the punch editor—I was able to change the shape of my square punch into a witch's dress punch! How awesome! I also added a freeform layer to color the top part of her dress. (Honestly this intimidated me before, that's why I wanted to tackle it, and you know what? NOT scary!) Then I changed the color of her stockings to something a little more witchy, and voila! My sassy witch.
I hope that you have as much fun with this as I did! Play around and see what you come up with. Any "witch" way you use her…she's utterly adorable!

I immediately guessed that she could be used as an animated gif when I saw the two poses on the download index. Does the download include the arms and legs in separate pieces? I want to learn how to do that some day.
Sara...what happened to the free download?
Comment by Sara Wyman on October 4, 2012 at 11:30am The free was referring to the animated gif so feel free to enjoy her little jig as often as you like! Sorry for any confusion this has caused. Thanks!

Comment by Jeanna Bohanon on October 4, 2012 at 11:25am I THOUGHT I was going to be able to resist her! Guess I was wrong, this is too cute
Comment by Sara Wyman on October 4, 2012 at 11:23am You noticed! Her legs can be put on any "witch" way. The designer did that on purpose, just for fun and quirkiness. You can put them on the other way if you wish. =)
