We had over 40 submissions for the Valentine's Project challenge--click here to check them out! There was such a variety of projects: from hybrids and framables, to bingo cards and blog headers. Oh, and don't forget Amy's Pillow. It's too bad she works here because she totally deserves a free digi download for that project! Thank you all for participating!

We have a few honorable mentions to make below before we announce this week's winner.

Julie Davidse's Lots of Love framed art piece with that pop of chunky red glitter pizzazz!
And Erica Shaw's A Loving Heart page with her beautiful little girl!

Now, on to this week's winner. Drum roll please....

Tracey Collier's All It Takes Is Love page! We loved your muted colors, your beautiful layout, and your words of wisdom.

So, are you ready for a new challenge to test your skills? Well, here it is!

Your challenge? Have you ever found that perfect free font to complete your project? We want you to tag that project, and add a link in the description to where you found that font. Feel free to make any type of project, just make sure to include your link in the description and the "Free Fonts" tag.

Also, it can’t hurt your chances if other people think your sample is grand too, so make sure to blog, tweet, post, and pin it everywhere you can. Ask your customers and friends to like, favorite, and comment on your sample here on MyDigitalStudio.net.

The prize? As usual, one download for free, but this time it will be from the downloads released on Tuesday, February 25!

Happy designing! And don’t forget to tag your samples with “Free Fonts” before Friday, February 22 at noon (MT). Click here for the official rules.

Make sure to include the capitals, and quotation marks in your tag. If your sample has been tagged correctly, you’ll be able to find it under Samples by clicking on the new link: Free Fonts.

Thanks so much Alana!  I found that the fonts at dafont.com didn't require me to download all those extra add-ons and before I figured that out  I did get lured into downloading "stuff" I didn't want so thanks for verifying that for me...I'm glad it's not necessary to add all that stuff.  Now I need to go back and erase those zipped files and such...thanks for your help!

Janna - once you have your *.ttf file on your desktop, then open windows explorer and go to C:/WINDOWS/FONTS.  Now drag and drop your font files into that window from your desktop and they will install themselves onto your hard drive for every software on your computer to access.  MDS simply looks to this folder to populate the drop down font selector.  So if you have MDS open at the time that you have installed a font, you will need to close and reopen MDS in order to find the new font.  I hope that helps! :o)

the same free font will be available on many different websites!  so if they ask for additional downloads/agreements, or if they try to download in zip or especially exe files - avoid those websites!  just keep looking/searching for an easy download directly in *.ttf file format (ttf = true type font).  some websites just offer free fonts as a ploy to lure you in for other advertising/business.  and some sites lure you in to add a virus to your computer.  So beware!

I now have AVG Search and EZ Fonts installed in my computer because of the fonts I just downloaded...is it safe to uninstall them and still keep the fonts?  FREE fonts isn't feeling so free to me...?

I'm a computer idiot so trying to learn this new stuff.

Help!  Some of these fonts require you to change your default search engine and home page, etc..  I just want the font...not all the new add ons, toolbars, etc. to go along with them.  Is this the only way?  Is it worth it Font users? LOL  Any suggestions?
