"Nope. Deleting the "extra" pref files and installing the MDS2 update from mydigitalstudio.net did the trick. All the content (both from the original MDS and MDS2+) were there after the update.

On a Mac, open a finder window. Click "GO" at the top of the screen and hold down the option key while the Go menu is open.…"
