Katherine, I placed two copies of the picture. The first one I made black and white, then decreased the opacity. The second photo I kept color and cropped it to just the area that I wanted to keep colored. It took some patience to resize and perfectly line it up with the large picture, but it was worth the effort.

so sweet!  Love this.  I'm hoping to scrapbook my little guys first steps today!!  :) LOVE how you edited the photo...absolutely adorable!
