So, the "magic" for this layout is the DSP that I created for the background. I used each piece of the Joyful Times Designer Series Paper, and filled the Friendship Frame punch. Then, it was just a lot of copying and pasting, and spacing evenly, etc. Then I dropped a doily punch between the DSP punches (because I thought it looked like a snowflake without actually being a snowflake), and added some Starter Lines with stitching. By itself, it almost looks like a Christmas quilt...to me, at least ;-)
I used the layers tool A LOT at the end of this project, to get the ribbon and the layers under it settled properly, and to get the snowflake punch under the title. Because the background is so busy, I would probably use this layout as the cover of a Christmas album...highlighting pictures of Christmases for our family throughout the years.
