Birthday Cake
Each cake layer was made with punches: a rounded corner punch for the main part, then an oval at the top of it (in the lighter color) and also at the bottom (same color as the cake sides). Cake plate is also an oval.

Susan, that's the "textured" background (a single stamp brush)..... which, after a lot of searching, appears to me to have only been available in the original MDS (full version). I was surprised to discover it's apparently not available for individual download (and never has been). Too bad, 'cuz I find it really handy and use it often.
