I had some questions on how I did my ornaments in this post, http://mydigitalstudio.net/photo/all-decked-out Here is a visual .The highlights and shadows are created with punches that I modified. 1/2 circle punch for the crescent shape and the square for the angled rectangle. I filled the punches with white for the highlights and black for the shadows and then reduced their opacity. Hope that Helps! Feel free to ask if you have any other questions :)

Comment by Amber Swift on September 19, 2012 at 8:55pm Wow. I haven't had much time to play with the new MDS2 yet, but I watched all the videos and I had no idea we could do that. That is amazing. I'm going to have to go and try it now :)
Martha, thanks for sharing!
Amber, when you edit a punch, make sure you are running MDS as an administrator, otherwise, you won't be able to save your new shape.
Comment by Martha Inchley on September 19, 2012 at 5:54pm Not at all Amber, there is a lot of new functions to learn in MDS2.
So use the punches drop menu on the right side of the screen.
click "add punch" and the punch menu comes up.
select the punch you want to use and then click the "Edit Shape" button on the lower left hand side. Then a Freeform like screen comes up and you're able to edit. Hope this helps.
